Growing up in a small country town, my parents taught me that working
hard, accepting individual responsibility, and treating others as you
would want to be treated, were necessary to succeed.
I have emphasized these same ideals to my children,
grandchildren, and to the many adults and children that I taught,
coached, and worked with.
I believe we must have judges who are hardworking, courteous, and fair--
will uphold traditional values, be tough when the law is broken, and
work to protect our families.
At the same time a judge must ensure that our citizens are given
access to justice.
As a ten-year breast cancer survivor, I understand the importance of
every day and of using your time wisely. The time is right to offer my
service as Judge of the First Circuit Court of Appeal to the people of
Baton Rouge, Baker, Central, Cheneyville, Greenwell Springs, Pride, and
Zachary.
Please give me your help, your vote, and your prayers.
I will give
my best to all of you as your Court of Appeal Judge.
